From a salesperson's phone to a finished invoice.

Salespeople write up the sale at the customer, the documents come from that record, and bookkeeping reviews instead of retyping. That is how the system we built for Indigo Luxor works.

The Indigo field app on a salesperson's phone

What the system runs

  • Field app

The salesperson writes up the sale on their phone, at the customer, with nothing to install. It is built for one hand, because salespeople don't sit at a desk.

  • Documents from one record

Invoices, dispatch notes, delivery notes, credit notes and returns all come from the same sale, so the PDF always matches what was sold.

  • A back office for review

The back office sees each document the moment it exists. Each one has a status, so everyone knows where it stopped and who needs to review it.

  • Warehouse, prices and commissions

Warehouse, prices, sales commissions and bookkeeping run off the same data.

Paper from the field, or a sale that is already a document

Without a system

  • Salespeople write sales on paper.
  • Supervisors carry the paper to bookkeeping.
  • Bookkeeping retypes each one into an invoice and dispatch note.
  • Every new salesperson means more typing.

With one system

  • A sale written up on the phone is a document straight away.
  • The back office sees each document the moment it exists.
  • Bookkeeping reviews instead of retypes.
  • The sales network grows; the back office doesn't have to.

Every document in the chain can be checked from the sale to the ledger.

How it works at Indigo

Indigo had fifty salespeople in the field and a bookkeeping team that retyped every sale. Today a sale closed on the phone is an invoice before the salesperson leaves, and the same bookkeeping team keeps up with a growing sales network.

Common questions

Do salespeople need special devices?
No. The app runs on the phone they already have, with nothing to install.
How reliable are the documents?
Document generation has its own test suite, because invoices and dispatch notes carry legal weight and must not change shape between versions.
Do we have to move everything at once?
No. We start with the part that costs you most, usually the field and the invoice, and add the rest once it is stable.
What does it cost?
It depends on how many salespeople and documents you have and what you want in the first version. After the first call you get a written proposal split into parts, each with its own price range.

Your salespeople still write on paper?

Tell us how many salespeople you have and how a sale reaches an invoice today. We'll tell you what we would build.
