The problem
BeeBike wanted a real online store, not a static brochure — with products, prices, and stock that match what the supplier actually has, without anyone typing things by hand.
A custom Shopify store for BeeBike, plus a service that runs in the background to keep the catalog aligned with the supplier's — no manual product entry.
The story
An online store that maintains itself — products, prices, and stock track the supplier without intervention.
Worth noting
BeeBike wanted a real online store, not a static brochure — with products, prices, and stock that match what the supplier actually has, without anyone typing things by hand.
A custom Shopify theme for the store itself, plus a background service that pulls the supplier's state from their system, compares it with the previously known state, and pushes updates to Shopify only when something actually changed. Special attention to the small things that usually cause problems: Serbian price formatting, stock format, missing images.
Modules & surfaces
Shopify covers what it's good at — sales, cart, checkout, payment. We solved what Shopify doesn't do out of the box: maintaining a catalog that isn't ours but the supplier's. The service is designed to be silent when there's no work — it pulls the feed, sees no changes, doesn't trigger anything. That means less pressure on the Shopify API and a clean change history.
BeeBike runs a store where the catalog tracks reality — without manual catalog maintenance, without stale prices, without stock surprises.
